Healthwatch St Helens Communication and Engagement Officer (Part time 28 hours)
Salary (£21,159) pro rata salary £18,721
26 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata)
Halton and St Helens VCA wants to employ someone who can support and develop Healthwatch St Helens through the provision of an information and communication service to ensure that the views of patients, the public and local communities inform the development of local health and social care services.
Duties include:
- Assist Healthwatch members and the general public across all sectors to have a voice to ensure that Healthwatch St Helens has a significant influence on healthcare provision and social care services within St Helens.
- To use social media and other appropriate methods to promote the work of Healthwatch and to recruit new members and volunteers.
- Develop the Healthwatch St Helens website providing consistent and up to date information on the work of Healthwatch.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively and confidently both orally and in writing and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office and content management systems.
