"I returned to the UK from Ireland after 20 years there, in 2015. Whilst in Ireland I was very involved with Patient for Patient Safety, which is now known as the Global Patient Safety Network an initiative of the World Health Organisation. Through my involvement with PPS I did a lot of voluntary work dealing with hospitals, the Health Service etc and wanted to carry on this type of work back here. So on my return I contacted Healthwatch and now enjoy my voluntary work here, including Enter and View which I feel is very beneficial to the local community."
